Effective design for mobile phones

Smartphones are big business. Apple rewrote the rule-book in terms of mobile interaction with multi-touch and gesturing with the iPhone, and have set a precedent for the distribution channel of mobile apps via the App Store. With many other phone companies jumping on the bandwagon, there is now more choice than ever for the consumer smartphone market.

To Flash or not to Flash?

Flash started its life as a little known drawing and animation application called Futuresplash Animator in 1996. Since then, Macromedia took over, Adobe then stole the reigns from Macromedia and Flash has evolved in to the feature rich, multimedia development framework we all know and love.

Like all good design agencies it seems, we're avid BBC 6Music listeners here at the Bourn studio. Of course that means we pick up on a lot of news related to the music scene, and one of the big issues doing the rounds lately has been over fake festival ticket websites.
